Rejuvenating Sexes:  Script for Page 1

Characters:  Ling, Shari, Alex
Goal:  To establish scene and set up transformation

Panel 1:
Scene: Minimalistic Background
Camera Angle: Worm’s Eye View.
With utter excitement of getting the mail and opening the package, Ling leans back and holds up a battle of crystal clear water.  The water is contained in a bottle that is shaped like a woman in regards to the curves.  Ling’s eyes are closed.  To emphasize the importance of the water bottle, I would propose that a white starburst be added behind it.  You know, like the ones you see when Link holds up an item in a chest from the Legend of Zelda.  For the background, I would propose a circular gradient background that starts from light blue and fades into a dark blue.  The left hand of the panel should contain the logo for the comic.

LING I can’t believe it finally came.  My grandmother’s special mineral spring water from our family’s private crystal oasis.  I always felt so rejuvenated after bathing and drinking our filtered, bottled water version of it.

Panel 2:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  Upon hearing Shari’s loud voice, Ling realizes that she has to go and help her carry in the groceries.  Ling sits the water bottle next to the opened mail box.  To show that it is Shari yelling, I would recommend adding a small chibi head of Shari to the text balloon.

SHARI: That’s nice and everything Ling, but could you please…
SHARI (Y): HELP ME CARRY THESE GROCERIES IN!?!?!?
LING: OH!!!  That’s right.  We went grocery shopping.
LING: I’m coming Shari.

Panel 3:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  While Ling has her back turned to the reader and is seen running out of the opened door in the background, Alex comes walking in from the right hand side of the panel.  Alex has his shirt off and is drenched in sweat from working outside all day.

ALEX: Hey Ling!  Shari!  Sorry for taking so long with the yard work, but do you mind if I grab…

Panel 4:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  Delighted to see the water, Alex takes the bottle of water and chugs it down fast.  At this precise time, Shari and Ling come walking in.  Shari turns her attention to Ling and apologizes for her outburst.  Ling notices Alex chugging the water down, horrified at what will happen.

ALEX: SWEET!!!
ALEX: She left some water out for me.
ALEX: Well, bottoms up.
SHARI: Sorry for yelling earlier--
LING (Y): OH NO!!!  DON’T DRINK THAT!!!

Characters:  Ling, Shari, Alex, Alexis
Goal:  To present transformation in the most hilarious of ways.

Panel 1:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  Finished chugging down the water, Alex removes the bottle from his lips and turns it upside down to show Ling and Shari that it is completely empty.  Alex appears rather calm and elated for drinking the refreshing water.  Alex’s eyes are closed shut in a happy manner with a huge open smile running across his face.  Furious, Ling raises her finger in an ever growing rage at Alex.  Ling should exhibit the anime cliché angry mark and tilted evil eyes.  Startled, Shari tries to peacefully defuse the situation, calmly placing her right hand on Ling’s right shoulder.

ALEX: Sorry Ling, but it’s all gone.  Thanks for that deliciously fresh drink by the way.
LING (Y): I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO, BUT YOU NEED TO GET IT OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM NOW!!!
SHARI: Calm down Ling.  It’s no big deal.  It’s just water.

Panel 2:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  Ling turns her back away from Alex to face Shari.  Ling’s frustrations dissolves into utter concern and horror as she innocently does her best to explain the severity of Alex’s actions to Shari.  In a slightly defense manner, Shari backs away and appears rather confused at Ling’s explanation.  Due to their rather close conversation, Ling and Shari are completely oblivious to the stranger starburst lights surrounding Alex and the sudden disappearance of all the grim and sweat on his body.  Alex’s eyes are open.  Alex’s facial expression resembles that of being confused yet surprised.

LING (Y): You don’t understand Shari!!!  That’s not ordinary water!!!  It came from my family’s oasis!!!
ALEX (W): That’s odd.  I really do feel clean and refreshed.
SHARI: Family oasis?  You mean that women’s only resort?  I still don’t see--

Panel 3:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  Shari stares in utter disbelief at Alex.  Shari’s eyes are in the anime cliché all white mode.  Upon hearing the special effect noise, Ling turns around in shock at Alex.  Without warning, Alex’s chest suddenly expands to rival that of Shari’s breast size.  Because Alex wasn’t wearing a shirt, his chest is fully exposed.

SFX: BOING

Panel 4:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  From this point forward, Alex is now Alexis.  In a state of absolute disbelief, Shari continues to stare at Alexis’s chest with those cliché anime white eyes.  The color form Shari’s face is slightly diluted as a result of Alexis’s transformation.  Ling grasps both her hands and puts them close to her mouth in a concern manner.  Feeling slightly strange, Alexis turns his attention away from the girls and looks down at his new chest.

SHARI (W): Now…I see a problem.
LING (W): Oh noes!!!
ALEXIS: That’s odd.  Why do I suddenly feel heavier?  And why are you two staring at my ch--

Goal:  To confirm change and to showcase Ling’s cuteness.

Panel 1:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  Alexis is completely and utterly in a state of terrifying panic at the realization that he now has a chest.  Alexis’s hands are in his hair, pulling it up slightly as if tearing it off his scalp.  Ling continues to grasp both her hands over her mouth in a concerning manner; however, because it’s Ling, a slight amount of drool starts to roll down her cheeks and her eyes into that anime cliché dreamy state due to the fact that she’s staring at Alexis’s chest.  Shari continues to stare at Alexis’s chest with those cliché anime white eyes; however, the color in her face returns to its normal shade.

ALEXIS (Y): OMG!!!  OMG!!!  OMG!!!  WHY DO I SUDDENLY HAVE TITS!?!?!?
SHARI: Wha…what just happened Ling?

Panel 2:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  To confirm that he is at least still half a man, Alexis starts to feel down below her belt to determine if he still has his male genitalia.  I should note that people will not be able to see him rubbing himself down there because of the counter top blocking the view.  Smiling and closing her eyes, Ling turns around and gleefully explains the entire situation to Shari, who has now snapped out of her anime cliché white eyes but still remains puzzled with the whole ordeal.

LING: It’s the water.  Our family legends warn that men should never drink it less they wish to experience the change.
ALEXIS (W): Let me check down south of the equator, and…
SHARI: So that’s why it’s an all-female resort.  I thought your family were just into women.
LING (W): It’s both actually!

Camera Angle: Worm’s Eye View [Perspective is looking up from the floor]
Scared of his discovery, Alexis raises her hands back up to her hair and starts tearing a small amount out.  Tears start to roll down Alexis’s eyes as they remain open.

ALEXIS (Y): GAH!!!  MY MANHOOD IS GONE TOO!?!?!?
ALEXIS (Y): I CAN’T GO OUT LIKE THIS!!!  I DON’T EVEN HAVE A SHIRT ON!!!

Panel 3B: [Letters Appearing After Panel Number]
Scene: Minimalism [Elated Starburst Effect]
Camera Angle: Extreme Close Up
Ling is suddenly overcome with joy upon hearing Alexis’s no shirt comment.  With the focus on her face, Ling’s eyes enlarge with white sparkles appearing to surround her.

LING (W): No…Shirt?
ALEXIS: Uhhh…Ling.  Why are you looking at me like that?
LING (W): No shirt, manly pants, messy fur…the potential.
 
Panel 4:
Scene: Kitchen
The scene opens up to the Kitchen Scene as seen in the References.  In her delighted joy, Ling grabs hold of Alexis’s right hand and lifts/pulls her towards the right side of the panel.  Ling’s backside is the only part of her present in the panel.  Ling’s impressive strength lifts Alexis’s body off the ground, surprising Alexis.  To show these two in movement, I would recommend adding speed lines and a dust cloud.  Shari remains in the same position, breathing a sigh of relief since she isn’t the one subject to Ling’s impending makeover.

LING (Y): FOLLOW ME!!!
ALEXIS: What the hell?
SHARI (T): Better him than me, especially in Ling’s makeover mode.

Characters:  Ling, Alexis
Goal:  To showcase Ling’s darker side when it comes to makeovers.

Panel 1:
Scene: Ling’s Bedroom
The scene opens up to the Ling’s Bedroom (Closet Perspective) as seen in the References.  After catching her breath from being tugged away from the last page, Alexis, standing on the right hand side of the panel in front of a set of closet doors, looks around Ling’s room.  Alexis appears slightly confused since the closet doors are right next to him.  Ling is really close to the panel with her head looking down towards the bottom of the panel in wondrous joy.

ALEXIS: Ling, I’m grateful that you’re willing to lend me some of your clothes…
ALEXIS: But why are you over there at your dresser?
ALEXIS (W): I thought your clothes were in the closet.
LING (W): Let’s see here.  Tight figure…short hair…This and this design could work.

Panel 2:
Scene: Ling’s Bedroom
The scene opens up to the Ling’s Bedroom (Drawer Perspective) as seen in the References.  Realizing that Ling isn’t getting clothes, Alexis becomes furious at her, slamming her hands down against her sides.  Alexis’s eyes should be the anime cliché white and evil eyes with an angry mark.  Alexis’s and Ling’s back sides are present due to the angle.  Ling shakes here rear end back in forth while continuing to flip a notebook on top of her dresser.

ALEXIS: Hold up…are you flipping through a book?
ALEXIS (Y): WHAT THE HELL LING!?  JUST GIVE ME A WHITE SHIRT SO I CAN COVER UP THESE TITS!!!
LING: He…he…he…

Panel 3:
Scene: Minimalistic [Evil Glare]
Camera: Extreme Close Up Shot
Ling turns around to reveal her evil side.  Ling’s eyes turn a fierce red.  An aurora of red surrounds the panel.

LING: Oh….I don’t think so.

Panel 4:
Scene: Minimalistic [Fiery]
Camera: Ground Level Perspective
Consumed with malicious intent, Ling towers over Alexis with a glowing desire to makeover her.  Both of Ling’s hands have brushes and makeup utensils.  A red aurora surrounds Ling’s entire body.  Ling’s eyes are in the anime cliché evil mode with the tilt and yellow glowing.  An expression of evil delight runs across Ling’s face.  Alexis’s head covers the bottom of the panel and appears to be sweating.

LING (E): It’s time…for a makeover.
ALEXIS: Wait…WHAT!?!?!?

Goal:  To have a series of wardrobe changes.

Panel 1:
Scene: Minimalistic (Makeup clouds)
Ling’s eccentric makeover skills cause a cloud of makeup smoke to consume the entire panel.

SFX: PUFF PUFF PUFF
SFX: COUGH COUGH COUGH

Panel 2A: [Letters Appearing After Panel Number]
Scene: Minimalistic (Light gradient)
The makeup cloud dissipates to reveal Alexis’s first attire change, specifically Princess Peach’s pink dress (images.teamsugar.com/files/upl…).  Still disoriented, Alexis looks down at Ling’s wardrobe change.in awe confusion.  Unbeknownst to Alexis, Ling has also added eyeliner to Alexis’s eyelashes in addition to combing her hair and apply pink lipstick.

LING: OMGG!  You look so cute!
ALEXIS: What…what the…
LING: But it’s way too frilly for around the house.

Scene: Minimalistic (Light gradient)
Ling makes another quick wardrobe change to Rascals’s very own Reiko’s signature ninja attire (www.katbox.net/forums/data/pho…).  Realizing what’s going on, Alexis becomes enrage with Ling, stomping her feet down in anger and lowering both her arms down.

LING: Here we go!  This is much better.  And you can go pool side too.
ALEXIS: Oh hells no!  I wasn’t going to wear anything pink and frilly, and I’m sure not wearing this!
ALEXIS: Don’t you have something that covers more of the body!?
LING (W): Covers more?

Panel 2C: [Letters Appearing After Panel Number]
Scene: Minimalistic (Light gradient)
Ling surprises Alexis with another wardrobe change to Samus’s Zero Blue Suit (vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/v…).  Alexis is rather pleased with the change, raising his prop gun up and inspecting it with awe.  

LING: In that case, let’s go all sci-fi here.
ALEXIS: At least it covers more of the body.
ALEXIS (W): And I do like this gun.
ALEXIS: But this latex feel is really weird and tight.
LING: Tight?  That’s nothing compared to these daisy dukes.
 
Panel 3A: [Letters Appearing After Panel Number]
Scene: Minimalistic (Light gradient)
Ling strikes out with Alexis with her new selection that resembles that of Las Lindas’s very own Mora Lindas’s signature farm clothes (laslindas.katbox.net/comic/the…).  Alexis isn’t pleased with her top holding her breast in.

ALEXIS: GAH!!!  I said I wanted my covered.
ALEXIS (W) And my boobs are falling out.
LING: Well, aren’t you picky.

Alexis is rather pleased with Ling’s switch to the Wii Trainer outfit (orig15.deviantart.net/afab/f/2…).  While inspecting the clothes, Alexis notices that she’s wearing a black sports bra.

LING: How about my work out clothes then?
ALEXIS: I can’t complain.  At least I’m finally covered up.
ALEXIS: I just wish I didn’t have to wear this bra.
LING: No bra?  Got it!

Alexis throws yet another temper tantrum at Ling’s Wonder Woman outfit (www.officialpsds.com/images/th…).

LING: Don’t you look “wonderful.” *SMERK*
ALEXIS (Y): LING!?  WHAT GIVES!?  THIS IS WORSE!!!
ALEXIS: Give me back the other one.

Panel 4:
Scene: Ling’s Bedroom
The scene opens up to the Ling’s Bedroom (Closet Perspective) as seen in the References.  With her back turned to the reader, Ling holds up two outfits.  The outfit in Ling’s left hand is a sling bikini while the outfit in Ling’s right hand is the backside of a crop top and skirt.  Ling smiles with utter joy and delight.  Still wearing the Wonder Woman outfit, Alexis reluctantly accepts one of the two outfits Ling is holding.  Alexis’s uneasy body position should be slightly leaning forward as if accepting his defeat.

LING: I can’t do that.  Once you try it on, you either stick with it or it goes in the laundry.
ALEXIS: That doesn’t--
LING: Not my problem.  But I still have these two outfits.
ALEXIS: I…I’ll take the one on the right.

Goal:  To introduce Alexis’s new outfit.

Scene: Bottom of a Staircase
Upset that it is taking Ling and Alexis so long to change, Shari finally stomps her foot down and slides both her hands down her sides in rage.  Shari’s ears are upright and a cliché anime red mark is on the side of her face.

SHARI: AY YEI!
SHARI: Those two have been up there for over an hour now.
SHARI: How long does it take to put on a…

Before she could finish her thought, Shari stares up in surprise.

SHARI: …shirt?

Alexis finally comes out to reveal her new attire.  Combed and rejuvenated, Alexis is sporting a thin, pink headband in her hair.  With eyeliner in her eyes and a slight touch of lipstick and blush, Alexis is wearing a black collar necklace with a metal heart locket in the center.  With her body language indicating a sense of peace and acceptance with her selection, Alexis showcases her pink, sleeveless crop top with a GIRL POWER logo and hears all over the front and a whitish pink skirt.  Alexis’s body is slightly tilted in a feminine manner.

Scene: Hallway
Trying her best to contain herself, Shari moves her hands up to her mouth to contain the laughter.  Alexis stares at Shari in frustration.

ALEXIS: Don’t you dare--
SHARI: PPPFFFFFTTTTT

Scene: Hallway
Shari bursts out laughing her gut out.  Shari’s eyes are closed and she’s leaning forward with her right arm across her stomach region and her left hand slapping her knee.  Alexis closes her eyes in disgust, trying her best to contain her rage.

SHARI: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Panel 4B: [Letters Appearing After Panel Number]
Scene: Hallway
Upset, Alexis storms past Shari, who has now regained some of her composure but continues to chuckle.  Excited about heading out, Ling pops out from the left hand side of the panel with her hand raised as if asking for permission.

ALEXIS: I’m going to the mall to buy some manlier clothing.
SHARI: Wait for me.
LING: Can I come too?

For the Kitchen Scene, I would like to have it so that there is a counter where the props will be sat at during this page and all future pages.  It should be an open concept kitchen to where you will see the main hallway that leads out into the front door area.

Letters Appearing After Panel Number
If a letter appears after a panel number, then I would like you to split that 4Koma Row into a number of panels equal to that of the number of letters present.  For example, if I have Panel 3A and Panel 3B, then I would like you to split the third panel in the 4Koma into two independent panels.

Ling’s Bedroom Scenes and References:
For the Ling’s Bedroom Scene, I will leave up the design to you; however, for purposes of the story, I will have to insist that at the very least a dresser filled with makeup products and a scrap book of designs and closet doors be present.
